"My Rottie Mix, Chevy, recieves acupuncture from Daphne for a chronic pain at his tail base. He is a pretty anxious and sometimes aggressive dog, who does not like his body being poked and prodded. I muzzle Chevy and hold on to him while Daphne checks him over and then gently puts the needles in his skin. In less than five minutes, my dog falls into a deep sleep. After his first appointment, we noticed a huge difference in his behavior. My husband came home from work (ignorant to the dog recieving acupuncturing earlier that day), and immediately commented on on the dog's puppy-like behavior, increased energy and overall "up" and happy body language.
